What are the points for attention of drill pipe?
1. Pay attention to check the wear of each part of the drill pipe, and find out the reason in time if abnormal wear occurs:
(1) Determine whether the drill pipe is scratched by the sharp hard substance in the hole;
⑵ Determine whether the drill pipe is scratched by the drill guide device.
When the scratch mark on the drill pipe body is about 1mm deep and is in a spiral state for more than one turn, please use it with caution. Prevent the drill pipe from being broken during construction, causing greater losses.
2. If the drill collar is found to be damaged (staggered, severely worn, etc.), it should be replaced in time to damage the drill pipe thread.
3. Pay attention to hoisting, and avoid impact damage to the public buckle when handling drill pipes.
4. Pay attention to avoid mixing drill pipes of different buckle types; Even if the drill pipes are not of the same manufacturer, do not mix them (because the technical parameters, processing methods, tools and mechanical equipment used by various manufacturers are different, and the tolerance and tightness of the processed drill pipes must be different); Do not mix drill pipes with too much difference between the old and the new and with too much difference in wear degree to avoid construction risks.
5. It is found that the drill pipe buckle has local small-scale damage (about 1-2 buckles, 10mm long), which should be repaired in time before use.
6. Pay attention to avoid clamping any part of the drill pipe body with vise clamps to avoid the rod body being clamped by slips and reduce the service life of the drill pipe.
7. Use qualified screw oil. The screw thread oil is insufficient, so that the shoulder of the joint is damaged to a high degree, which is easy to loosen the thread connection and cause thread damage. Do not use thread oil or use unqualified, will make the thread surface adhesion, resulting in galling phenomenon.
