three cone bit working principle:
Under the action of the weight on bit and the rotation of the drill string, the teeth crush and eat the rock, and at the same time produce a certain amount of sliding to shear the rock. When the roller cones roll at the bottom of the well, the teeth on the roller cones impact and press into the formation in turn. This action can crush part of the rock at the bottom of the well, and at the same time, the shearing action brought by the sliding of the roller cones cuts off another part of the rock remaining between the teeth, so that the rock at the bottom of the well is completely broken and the wellbore can be extended.
